Free Downloads

The gallery was busted for a while today from 6am to 12pm EST, however there's good news.

Free downloads are back. You are (theoretically) limmited to 1 free dowload per day.

This is an experiment. If the speed of the downloads is too slow, or it puts too much stress on the server I'll take it away again.

Please report if things go okay.

You cannot zip download all the albums.

If your album has more than 1000 pictures in it... there is a chance the zip download will fail. Right now, only Randy Dave's album fails.

I came across the post at WWOEC forum stating that Randy Dave turned in the notice of retirement. He also specified that ALL graphics must be taken down and he stated that he had deleted entire artworks from the computer... I thought you may have to take the Randy Dave album down...

I know for sure you will have to ask someone that posted it to remove this album... I already alerted some forum adminrators of various forums I have gone to of this message that I had come across...

As Randy Dave stated in his last message he wanted to protect his kids and grandchildren... His friend at work had been busted for possessing the child pornography...

Actually we have permission

well...you were right on " like a mermaid" and I did get " leave it to sister" to work. I just changed internet browsers for the two to work. Using Mozilla Firefox won't let you download it, all you get is the " no files to extract" when you download and unzip it. But I did find one that won't work even when I'm using internet explorer. I tried like five times and it just won't work. the album "inransei-souseiji" will just not work. Can you check it to see if its just me or is actually just messing up. thanks

What's the speed of your internet connection?
If you have cable/DSL, please tell me how fast it is. If you have a faster than 5Mbit cable/DSL connection... you may experience some issues with dowloads.

Also... when your broken download arrives, what is the filesize of the download?
Inransei-souseiji is 56MB as a zip.

What's Wrong?

I have already downloaded a few and it all worked out fine, mostly. I use the new version of stuffit-expander (i have a Mac G4 on 10.4) and it opens them just fine. As long as don't do anything else while it is downloading, they always come out fine. If I keep messing around on my borswer (like in other windows, etc...) then there will be a problem with the download and it won't fully download and it will say the file is damaged when I go to "un-zip" it. Hope this is helpful.

Speed and size

According to my AOL download box, I generally download at about 60KB/SEC. File sizes are nice and big, "All I Want Is A Hole" is about 71.2MB. I am on AT&T high speed. Um I guess that means DSL (my dad helped me set it up and find a good deal. sometimes it pays to be a share holder.).

- P.S. You know if you download an album once, and its broken. You can download it again. The system allows for that.

more then one album?

I know you say you can only DL one at a time, but u also say something about 1000 pics, and I havent seen anyone one album with that many pics, so is there a way to combin them or am I just hoping to much?

The full size of the zip is 56.6MB. Your browser stopped downloading it in the middle of things. Do you ... by chance have a super high-speed connection? Like say a university line or a work line?

When I download, it automatically goes into a compressed folder, by default. When I go in to decompress the subject ... guess what? It isn't there. Answers?

not working

I tried to download a file and it did work, but when I tried to extract the files, the computer said " no files to extract" whats going on with that? its just weird, but I am glad you have put these feature back up, I just wish it would work.

And see if you can unzip it. If you can't then please post the type of unzipper you used, and your operating system (if that's relevant).
